Established in 1976, and located in an historic two-room schoolhouse in Lemasters, Pennsylvania, Mercersburg Area Preschool (MAPS) operates as a non-profit preschool offering 2-day, 3-day and 5-day preschool programs.

The Mercersburg Area Preschool provides a carefully planned environment where three- and four-year-old children have many opportunities to express their ideas, be creative and enjoy a variety of experiences, which are above and beyond what a home setting can offer.

Our concern lies with each child's total development, therefore, nurturing social, emotional, intellectual and physical development is a priority at MAPS.

Our staff is qualified in early childhood development. They relate positively to each child with empathy, warmth and love.
